While observing users with exisiting apply dividers, Bally Design noticed a tendency to push apple slices back through the blades once the initial cut has been made.
This process can become tedious and potentially dangerous as the users’ fingers man come in contact with the blade.
Through iterative model making, Bally arrived at a concept which can safely remove the slices without obstructing the view of the apple. The final design is a comfortable divider with a removable silicone pusher. The user simply pushes down on the clear window to safely remove the apple slices from between the blades.
